'Unapologetically leading the shift to push the UNLEARNING of suppressive traditions and
beliefs that continue to cause infinite harm to our transgender communities.'
To disrupt the systems that marginalize, shame, silence and illigitemize the lives of trans youth, especially in our Black and Brown communities..
"The Gender & Sexuality Development Program at CHOP has been excited to partner with nadeen on multiple trainings for local school districts around supporting transgender and gender expansive students. The passion and professionalism that she brings to each training makes learning about tough topics easy and digestible. It was truly an honor to work alongside her."

The Attic Youth Center’s mission is to create opportunities for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth to develop into healthy, independent, civic-minded adults within a safe and supportive community and to promote the acceptance of LGBTQ youth in society.
Many LGBTQ youth continue to experience prejudice and oppression in their daily lives, which often leaves youth feeling isolated and vulnerable. The Attic community helps provide youth with a sense of belonging, connection, and understanding.
The Attic offers a wide range of programs and services designed to provide youth with the support and skills needed to transition into independent, thriving adults. The Attic strives to have a positive impact on all aspects of youth’s lives; to facilitate growth, empowerment, and resiliency; and to help youth find their voice, which is often silenced.
"mothasistah's expertise - not just as an educator, but also as an unrepentant speaker and fierce voice for trans youth lives - is a welcomed asset to our community. The unconditional love she exhibits for her son is the same she holds for ALL of our children.
we need that. We need her."
